I would love some of you to submit some cool vocal samples for me to use in my latest techno project. If you are brave enough to pick up the mic and say some random crap for me than fair play to you. (I have done it so can you don’t be all shy) Otherwise post a youtube clip and tell me exactly what vocal you suggest I should ad lots of granulation too.
Good vibes and thanks for the help.

I was going to do it when you mentioned it last night, hence why I am doing it now lol.
Sadly my flash downloader doesn’t work on I player only youtube 🙁 If you can find it on youtube or make the noise yourself then I will do it for sure. I can try and rip the audio direct for the desktop but my sterio mix on my soundcard sounds like shit when I record. I will try for you OK.

If you make some nice samples for me that would be cool. We could even sell them on a vocal sample CD. ££££
February 27, 2013 at 10:15 am #1267869I found the penguins, episode 3 right?

Cool mate. You want rhymes, or just random words, sounds and phrases?

Well I normally work with odd phrases like “30 years old an never owned a hair dryer” or the clasic “I don’t speak satsuma” With rhymes I could cut them up and use them for a break so if you wanna fire away be my guest.
Ok so penguins. I have downloaded it and converted it to wav, but the size of the sample crashes my DAW while trying to load.

Wicked, I’ll work on some very random phrases. Do you reckon you could fit ‘you can teach a dog to fuck, but you can’t fuck a teacher’s dog’ into a track?

These days it’s fairly London-ish mate, but there’s still a slight westcountry twang to it on certain words.

February 27, 2013 at 11:59 am #1267874Done a bit go have a listen
February 27, 2013 at 1:19 pm #1267890Im up for that.. tell me what you want said and I’ll grab my mic and get that shit done or I can make up some proper random stuff if you want.
It would be cool to have a collection of funny quotes that people have said on PV made into one megatune of pure awesome.February 27, 2013 at 2:13 pm #1267875Mate just say some random phrases or just some jibberish. Anything works with dance music. Make sure you speak loud and clear though, nothing is worse than having to beef up a quiet vocal sample, and try not to make any pops when pronouncing “p” words or any other definition letters
