Nostalgia time
Try to id, find and post the great old tunes from your first memories of dance music
To start it off, I just found a proper classic I had long forgotten until I stumbled across it, I never actually heard it played at a club or event as it was out just before I hit the scene, but my cous played it all the time when I used to get messed up round her first flats & shared houses so brought back good memories : )

I had it on vinyl at one point on the slammin vinyl absolute hardcore vol1 EP but it was terrible audio quality. I also heard it on a hench soundsystem at one of the greatest free partys I ever went to. It is special man enjoy.

I know so many quality old skool tunes but names escape me. I know biotech has some jems in his collection but I think I have pesterd him for track ID’s enough for this year.
November 13, 2012 at 7:42 pm #1261981Trying to find a tack where the vocal sample is a female saying “take me away” it’s borderline cheesy but I used to like it loads. All I can find online is the Darren Styles 2004 remix I feel alive which is part of the same track.

Ha ha, to be fair mate, I was only like 11 or 12 when it came out and it was a pretty groundbreaking tune for its time, especially to a kid who’d not long started secondary school. Might change my username to CheeseFan now, lol.
