Why do I keep having dreams where I end up being stabbed in the stomach by someone. Has been happening for a long while now. Is proopa horrid man. When it happens I think to myself oh shit it’s happened for real this time. I had one only moments ago but this one was a bit difrrent. Not only was I stabbed with a big pair of textile scissors, but my face was cut this time aswell.
Needless to say the dream was not very nice and was just curious if anyone was into dreams and meanings, to see if they knew what was going on.

There’s a vivid scene in that movie where the girl is ‘dreaming’ and gets stabbed my someone… doesn’t look like much fun… if you’ve seen that movie perhaps your brain is just fixating on it and knowing where you got the idea from will allow it to sort it away and forget about it.
If not, then once it’s happened a few times and because it’s recurring you should be able to recognise that you’re in a dream. Like, concentrate on learning the build up to you being stabbed, recognise the signs, and if you manage to click that you’re in a dream then you’ll experience something incredible cool – a lucid dream! From the point you go to your ‘wait, this is a dream’ then you should be able to just change your environment cos you have ultimate power. Flick whatever’s going on away, jump into the air, and go flying… :love:
July 27, 2012 at 7:01 am #1256525Yeah I have seen documentarys on people who learn to control their dreams. Recently I was thinking the same thing. But Durring the dream I allways have the thought “is this a dream” or “I hope this is dream cos I’m gonna fucking die” but shortly after I wake up. I don’t know if I could reconise the events leading up to the stabbing, cos it’s always diffrent. Like this time I was hanging around with some old associates who I never really got on with and one of them turned on me. Other times it has been like random shit leading up to a stabbing from a random person
July 27, 2012 at 9:02 am #1256534Oh wow it sounds like you’re so close… if you’re questioning whether your dreaming within a dream, you’re just a fraction away from realising you are! Try thinking something positive like “If this was a dream, I’d be able to shoot fire from my hands at these guys” and then try it and see if it works 😀

July 27, 2012 at 10:52 am #1256532i had a reoccuring dream awhile back where i’d fuck my jaw and crack it out of place completely. it felt so epically bad. i think id just like proper put it out of place jammed my teeth in a weird spot.
kept happening over n over in dreams and seemed so vivid. it stopped happening. tbh i don’t remember 99% of my dreams no more, i get deep peaceful sleep. in a small way i miss remembering dreams but i’m not really fussed.
and everyone must get sick of that plonker who always has to tell you about their stupid dream which means sweet FUCK ALL. I don’t care if you got a ‘dream deciphering’ book they’re a load of all shit. not saying there couldn’t be some link between dreams and some interesting psychological maybe even spiritual dimension but lets me honest, no one really has a scooby doo.

July 28, 2012 at 9:35 pm #1256536If its a recurring dream it most probably exemplifies your ongoing anxieties and emotions. It could be that you feel dominated by someone or something or that you have some repressed feelings you are protecting from people to find out about.
For example my mate was going through a hard time and people kept pressuring him to ‘open up’ which he did not want. He then had an on-going dream where people here stabbing at him and he was trying to shield himself.And p0ly dreams about broken teeth express fear about losses, both material both spiritual. (it can be money issues, fear of losing your youth, a change of social situations ect)
This isn’t a very indepth study but hopefully it can give you a nudge in the right direction and you can divulge them.July 28, 2012 at 9:43 pm #1256537I’v had my first lucid dream a few months ago, by accident. Its when I started getting up at six then whilst still half asleep going back to bed a few hours after. I got in a semi sleep (the state of consciences prior to REM)
I know exactly whats happening and can move my limbs and head a wee bit, everything is in black and white.
Its a bit crap but I recon with practice I can get better 🙂July 28, 2012 at 10:23 pm #1256530I used to have a few reocurrent dreams,
one where I opened a wardrobe with shrunken heads on spikes in it that just hurled abuse at me and another that I was in a white room whth white sofa etc in it and loads of hamsters that would jump on me and bite me and blood going everywhere, and one where I shot everyone I knew including my family….. go figure…
