its about 25 miles from Reading, I once cycled there to get to a Tunnel crew rave (having no other means of transport, then a relatively new touring bike, and a large bag of amfetamine).

the bulk of the ride(in the random hours of the night) only took 1.5 hours. Tip: don’t try cycling from the Thames Path to Marlow in autumn it becomes a great mud field and you are bogged down in mud surrounded by cows. that last bit was the slowest and least pleasant, but safer than the alternative which would have been riding along the shoulder of the A423 :crazy:

to be fair I had wanted to put that bike through its paces anyway, and it is designed specifically for riding long distances.

These days I am slightly lazier and use an e-bike but you still have to pedal it (the motor does not supply all the power – it is like having a short tandem but without the other person).

you should have the correct access level (curiously it doesn’t look like it) I will flag this and try and get it sorted. Access levels normally change after people are on the forum for a bit and permit PM’s (we had a lot of issues with folk using the site to send spam PM’s for fraud or illegal activity).

hahahahah tunnel crew, me and my mates have been joking about that party for months due to some skag head i know banging on in his fucked up states about starting tunnel crew even though he had nothing to do with it.
