Angelo Ferreri was born in Sicily (Italy), and since a young age was fascinated by the world of music, from listening to underground radio dance programs, to buying vinyl and CDs, he began to grow a vast interest in this new world, tainted by the techno sounds of the 90’s. At the age of 12 he began to learn and take his first steps into the world of electronic music.
Angelo quickly developed great skills which resulted in many opportunities to play around Europe. He has has been an active producer since 2004 and in the last couple years he has attracted the attention of several top notch labels. Now he has established his exciting funky tech house style with many countless releases on Pura Music, Soulman Music, and 303Lovers to name but a few.

In a world awash with carbon copy producers, James Cayzer aka Jaytech is a bright exception. Classically trained as a pianist and a perfectionist when it comes to programming, his unique blends of deep melodies and sunny electronic grooves are equally at home in the DJ sets of Sasha or Desyn Masiello as they are in the stadium headlining appearances of Above & Beyond.
Despite his relative youth, Jaytech’s prodigious creativity and prolific work rate (he started producing at just 14 and released his first track at 16) have seen him rise up as the most consistent artist on the popular Anjunadeep imprint — even releasing the label’s first full artist album through 2008’s ‘Everything Is Ok’, and hitting number one twice in the iTunes dance chart, both with his Anjunadeep 02 mix compilation in 2010 and again in 2011 with Anjunadeep 03.
Long chosen as the warm-up DJ of choice for Above & Beyond, Jaytech is now taking off as a headline DJ in his own right. Chosen to headline the Anjunadeep room for the label’s flagship party at the Miami WMC, he remains the number one headline DJ within the core Anjunadeep family. Jaytech’s most promising mix work to date, Anjunadeep 03, is the latest annual label collection and features 29 largely unreleased tracks that range from deep, dark and hypnotic techno sounds to upbeat, uplifting electronic house grooves.
Proof of his rising stock behind the turntables, a packed DJ diary has recently taken in dates at Ibiza’s Amnesia, London’s Brixton Academy and Japan’s world-famous Womb. In the past year he has also traveled the vast corners of his Australian homeland with the Future Music Festival and taken his uplifting and perfectly paced sound on tour in America — more recently with Above & Beyond for their TATW350 event in Los Angeles, where his set was broadcast live across the globe to a listen-in audience of 30 million.

While many people may claim to know Chris’ sound, with their focus on labeling him one thing or another, Chris is equally as focused on his efforts to push back the musical boundaries. He is an artist who is inextricably linked to the underground dance music scene is genuinely pushing his sound forward. Chris’ determination to continue to push the envelope can be seen in all aspects of his career. Proof of this can be found on his now classic triple CD compilation Balance and his recent solo productions including his stellar debut artist album As Long As The Moment Exits.
The Balance 007 CD was a integral part of the now worldwide successful Balance series and brand. The album was a musical forecast of the fresh and exciting underground movement as we know it today. It is little wonder the CD was name checked for compilation of the year by numerous international magazines and websites. Taking his production a step further in 2007, his debut artist album was released to countless plaudits and impeccable praise. Followed by the remix version of the album saw Chris work along side the likes of Joel Mull, Ed Davenport, Mark Broom, Someone Else, Bruno Pronsato, Pheek and Maetrik. Under his 40oz production guise Chris has released the several EPs and remixes that musically spreads comfortably across labels such as Bedrock, Wave Music, Cocoon, Kompakt or Get Physical.
Chris has been a consistent figure on the world tour circuit with a professional DJ career spanning 19 plus years. He has continually been a crowd favorite, confirmed by his very first residency at the legendary “Aahz” in Orlando through to residencies at The Cross in London and at Twilo in his adopted home of New York. Behind numerous singles, remixes, artist albums and no less than 9 commercially released mix albums, you can catch him as easily in Tokyo as in Buenos Aires and all points in between on any given weekend. -Direct Download Link | HEREIf you’ve ever met Neil Kurland, you know that he is not easily forgotten. In addition to his memorable charisma, he brings with him an excited and energized attitude that permeates every interaction he has. He brings this same excitement to every show that he plays, and revels in passing it on to his audience.
Born in Baltimore MD, Neil came up in the world of Hip-Hop and Baltimore Club, playing alongside such luminaries as Karizma, Scottie B and DJ Spen. Known for being a master of the art of turntablism, and for genre-bending sets of house, hip-hop and intelligent drum & bass, he’s graced the decks of such legendary parties as Miami’s Afternoon Delight (“5 Best WMC Daytime Parties” by MixMag UK), Ultraworld’s Starscape Festival, Camp Bisco, Future Classics, and Resident at Baltimore’s Mosaic lounge (twice listed as Spin Magazines “Best Nights Out in America”).
Although still a lover of the music of his roots, Neil has settled firmly in the realm of house music where he has made an indelible mark. Famous for marathon sets of tech house splashed with deep tribal undertones, heavy hitting percussion, and infectious dirty bass lines, Neil is truly the dancer’s DJ. This focus on the dance floor has helped to launch his career to new heights.
As co-owner of Soul Mob Productions, Neil co-founded the epic Visionary Solstice Gatherings that have hosted such acclaimed artists and musicians as Alex Grey, See-I, Fort Knox Five, and Shpongle. Also Neil is co-producer of the Future classics events in Miami, listed as the largest pool party of 2011 WMC. He’s also stays true to his underground roots as a resident of the Philadelphia Experiment (PEX), a burning man based community throwing the biggest underground events on the east coast. Neil has been playing events throughout the world, and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in electronic music including Spongle , Bassnectar, Deadmau5, Timmy Regisford, Ultra Nate, LTJ Bukem, and Infected Mushroom, just to name a few.
Neil has recently signed with Ospina Digital, owned by world renowned Producer/DJ Davidson Ospina. Neil’s first collaboration with Ospina, “Dizzy” hit the charts hard, rising to number one on Stompy. (http://www.stompy.com) “Dizzy” was heard around the world thanks to international stars such as Maceo Plex, Groove Assassin, Richard Earnsaw, Shur-I-Can, Inland Nights, David Penn, Marques Wyatt and many more. Massive projects are in the works for 2012 guaranteed to light up the charts.
Neil continues to expand internationally playing at events around the world as demand for his music pulls him to new places with fresh ears and steady dance floors. Yuri Kane is a Russia-based trance producer who in 2009 blew up with his production ‘Right Back’ supported by legendary DJs including Pete Tong on ‘BBC Radio One.’ And it was voted the best track of 2010 in Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance’ radio show. Following that success, Yuri recieved requests to do remixes for such labels as Flashover, Blackhole, Infrasonic, and for such producers as Matt Darey, Cosmic Gate, and many others. From Ministry of Sound compilations to radio play from the likes of Above & Beyond, Tiesto, and Myon & Shane 54 – he isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Jourdan Bordes has toured the world over and performed alongside the biggest names in dance music. He has played in cities such as London, Dubai, NYC, Miami, LA, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany, Bulgaria, Thailand, and many places in between. With only 3 years of self taught audio production, Jourdan has gained support from artists such as Graham Gold, Paul Oakenfold, Nervo, Kenneth Thomas, Noel Sanger, Darin Epsilon, Tritonal, and many more. Jouradan was discovered by the musical super mind, Bob Khaleeel (who also discovered an experimental rock/metal band, The Deftones). He is sighed to DLF music, owned by famed film producer, David Lynch. In 2012, Jourdan Held down three residences in Koh Phangan, Thailand. One of the residences was with dance music legend Graham Gold. Now back and forth to the UK and other global destinations, Jourdan continually pushes the envelope in the studio, and behind the decks. Jourdan was instrumental in setting up my tours of Thailand, so I’m very grateful to him for that.

A true mark of success that they reached only with the help of their highly supportive fan base.They followed up their victory by taking over The Beatport charts when their remix of Archie’s Desire release on Into The AM Records placed #4 on Beatport’s Progressive House Release Of The Week and #42 on Beatport’s Top 100 in overall releases. This week’s exclusive guest mix comes from fellow Southern Californian, ANDR3X. He has worked tirelessly promoting this music & culture for nearly two decades. ANDR3X was involved in the “Subliminal” warehouse parties of the 90’s which featured DJs such as Christopher Lawrence, Sandra Collins, and Mr. Kool-Aid to name a few. And he has been consistently throwing weekly OC parties for the last nine years. He is currently a resident for his own Elektronik Saturday weekly along with a residency for Element at Sutra, performing regularly alongside international headliners such as Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, ATB, Gareth Emergy, & Cosmic Gate to name just some… ANDR3X will be headlining at Sutra on March 21st, celebrating the release of his new single ‘Believers’, which is out now on Beatport. New Orleans-born, LA-based DJ/producer Trent Cantrelle scored big in 2011 with his dance floor rocker “I Want A Freak”. The smash hit went on to be one of the top 10 selling House songs in the world, Beatport Award nominated, and the only U.S. artist in his category. His sound leans toward big room peak-time house and tech, as heard on his recent releases “Ride” and the DMC Buzz Charting “Night Like This”. This caught the ear of Swedish House Mafia which recently had Trent open for them at their Ushuaia residency kickoff in Ibiza this Summer. For those in the know, this type of success is nothing new to the veteran U.S. artist.When Trent scored Essential New Tune at WMC 2005, with his smash rock hybrid “Runaway”, he was clocked by Pete Tong as “One of the hottest dance talents from the US”. The instant hit was licensed in over 15 countries and carried on to be one of the top tunes of that year. After breaking onto the global scene his DJ schedule kicked into high gear playing some of the biggest clubs around the globe. Over the years having amassed an impressive catalog of original tracks and remixes he has appeared on such labels as Ministry Of Sound, Spinnin’, Toolroom, Black Hole, Subliminal, Ultra, and many more.
The high profile productions helped further launch his career in the US and abroad, accompanying the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, and Sander Kleinenberg on tour. In addition to the club circuit, he performed at some of America’s biggest outdoor music events such as Coachella Music Festival, and The Electric Daisy Carnival. Today’s mix is the world debut of a portion of his 5-hour set a few weeks ago at the ‘Sounds Like’ label night, which went down at Dim Mak Studios in Hollywood, CA. I hope you enjoy.

Claes Rosen has established himself as the “man of melodies” who never ceases to astonish his listeners. Born in Sweden, Claes is known for having a very eclectic and atmospheric sound that shows off a quality of production that is rarely heard nowadays. Artists across the creative realm frequently lament the difficulty of putting thoughts onto paper. In electronic dance music, it’s the producers who battle the hardships of making the creativity of mind materialize on a computer screen. For Sezer Uysal, finding the right touch is more instinctual than voluntary. With half a dozen remixes and original productions reaching Beatport’s coveted Top 100 Progressive House, Tech House, and Deep House charts, his ability in the studio has garnered attention from some of the most renowned titans of the industry. In 2012 Sezer became an official remixer under the Ministry of Sound hallmark, and has gained support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Laidback Luke, John Digweed, Pete Tong, and Hernan Cattaneo. Pretty impressive for someone with no formal musical education. But it’s all just the beginning for the young 24 year-old. With upcoming originals and remixes on Armada and his own Dark Pleasure Recordings, combined with festival and club dates across Europe and Asia, Sezer Uysal finds himself on the eve of worldwide ascendancy.

Dan Buri is a man who started at 18 years of age and has made it to become one of Bangkok’s most in demand DJ’s. He currently holds residencies for the best venues in the city, including the renowned Bed Supper Club, QBar and Bash Nightclub… Not to mention, Dan is an extremely talented producer. Up next is a special session with Kazell – a DJ I’ve looked up to for many years. When it comes to a proper set, this man knows how to throw it down. Kazell has toured the world, opening for legends like Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish and Sander Kleinenberg. He toured with Sasha and Digweed on the groundbreaking Northern Exposure tour. He’s produced dozens of tracks that have been featured on labels like Global Underground and Lost Language and his 2003 debut album, Driven, was voted “Best Compilation of the Year” by Jive Magazine. He’s a resident DJ at LA’s premier electronic venue, Avalon Hollywood, and spins every year with John Digweed at Liqufied’s Mayan Theater event in Los Angeles. His sets fuse tech, tribal and progressive house into flowing grooves that prime the crowd for all- night epics and have earned him the title of “hottest DJ in warm-up” by the LA Times. He was also recently ranked best DJ in LA by LA Weekly. In 2011 Kazell founded Audio Raiders and created a set of audio plugins with legend Sasha. Sasha Soundlab gives DJs and producers access to a vast library of samples, sounds and effects used by the famous producer. It took Kazell nearly three years to launch Audio Raiders. “It was a real labor of love,” he says. “We worked tirelessly to launch the company and build the sound libraries and plugins. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to put as much time into DJing as I would have liked. Very excited for this month’s guest mix, from Colombia’s Matt Klast. I’ve been a fan of this talented young artist for quite some time, and I have enjoyed rocking his groovy tech house rompers in tons of my sets. When I was touring in South America earlier in the year, a friend brought me to an awesome outdoor daytime party in Medellin, Colombia, I didn’t know who was on the lineup but I was excited for the adventure. The DJ was rocking and everyone was loving the vibe. I looked up up at the booth and realized it was none other than Matt Klast. Awesome coincidence that one of my favorite underground artists was playing a party I happened to be at… and now he is on Open House! Matt’s music is loaded with love, power, strong bass lines, funky vocals, and of course tons of groove. As a producer and remixer, Matt has been supported by a selection of big musicians, including Richie Hawtin and Paco Osuna (who has said in an interview that he plays 2 or 3 of Matt’s tracks in every set). Marco Carola, David Herreo, Sebastian Leger and Umek are also on the list of DJs who rock Klast’s tunes… As a DJ, Matt has played some of the best clubs & festivals around the world, and he is only 21 years old. Very excited to welcome Matt Klast to the show, I hope you enjoy.

He also holds a residency at the Loi Lay Boat party, a favourite with the island’s more clued up clubbers and resident djs. As a dj, Darragh has been through it all; pop music, hard dance, dodgy turntables and pirate radio… When can you tick off boxes of destinations like Ibiza and Moscow, as well as a coveted residency on an exotic island, its not hard to see why the Irish man is always looking to the future, always looking to see how he can better himself.
