      every time i put a link then try to make a paragraph under it links the first letter to the link

      here is an example

      i posted the link then pressed enter twice so i went down two spaces, i suspect when i click post thread it’ll all be clumped into 1 big text without the paragraph which i put in being there.

      now i have to put links and always post above, this has been going on for about 1-2 weeks.

        ok no paragraph fuck up today but it still has linked it on my first letter, maybe it was due to it being a 1 letter word i don’t know but it has messed my paragraphs up before.

        let’s try again.

          aha i was right!! the one letter response made it have the paragraph but when i put a paragraph with a word longer than one letter it did this fuck up that’s been annoying me.

          hope you can sort it. thanks x

            Hitting enter doesn’t mean a new paragraph…

            Problem: When I write a text in the new editor in 4.1.6 and press ENTER, the editor creates a line-break instead of a desired new paragraph. It also removes paragraphs when editing an existing post. My users now enter 2 linebreaks to emulate a paragraph, which results in bad markup. Please fix the editor so that pressing ENTER will result in a new paragraph and pressing SHIFT+ENTER will create a line-break.

            Answer: Pressing enter is not supposed to create a new paragraph, just a line break. This how vBulletin editor has always worked and how we’ve set CKEditor to work, to keep the same functioning of the old editor.

            How are you creating the link?

              copy, paste. then i press enter enter like so

              so here i am two spaces down. this never used to happen so don’t see why now i’d have to change my means of making paragraphs!?
