Wondering who likes minimal here?

not everyones taste but thought i might try an establish a consensus of sorts.

Yeh, I’ve got time for minimal techno when I’m in the right frame of mind. I can’t deal with it in a club though, for me it’s more beard-stroking music to chill out to when I’m on my own when I can appreciate the intricate production.

Yeah man, know what you mean. enjoy the subtle panning, varying automation etc. clicks, ticks, tocks and all. good bit of reading always goes together well.

yeah I’m the sam,e … I’ll have a listen to it when I’m driving (I’ve actualy heard some banging minimal that blew my mind a few weeks ago when i was in my car), but out and about of a night i can’t really deal with it …

That autistic stuff is kinda like what I heard in my car the other week … propper heavy bouncing basslines, it almost could of been funky minimal lol.

alwasy thought holden and fake were more tech house to be honest.

I like it occasionally – tend to go for old school detroit minimal for choice and then mix it into acid house of the same period

ah yeah i heard kanio, have you checked out Luca Bacchetti, he’s pretty good. and yeah the sky was pink…reminds me of uni days…nights of MD, K & lashings of acid 😛

starts proper good but just loses it. think you could still make something of it.

don’t think so have to check it out at some point. not been into the minimal recently (download wise or mixing).

going in the right direction, like the push pull synth line, elaborate on that. would sound heavy. punchy kicks sounds wicked. 🙂

yeah there’s an extended version (the proper one) what’s got my mate’s GF singing on it … it’s diferant tho and not as well put together as was kinda rushed … this is a slightly stripped back version keeping all the really good elements of the other version … it looses it cos I had to take out some parts what made it build up as it went along .. now it just sounds kinda flat and waiting for me to add other bits. let me see if i still got the original cubase files for the one with singing and I’ll record it if i have.
