      9 out of 10 times i start my laptop up a i get a very high pitch very long beeb it literally sounds like its gonna blow up! i hit f2 and it loads up as normall, and works as normal!

      can this be fixed?

        Sounds like the processer’s overheating, the heat synk either needs cleaning out of dust or you need a new fan for it.

            also check the cooling fan is coming on – sometimes if a lappy has been re-installed the drivers that control the cooling fan are missing.

            if after a clean its still misbehaving, check the system specs and google them as the beep codes tell you about specific problems with the pcs and are usually unique to mobos by manufacturer

              get a computer status checker. That will give you info on core temp and fan speed + more. That is a thing that is good to have when you start error checking your labtop.

                look for a program called “RealTemp 360” to check your processer’s temp. afaik it’s free (i didn’t pay for it anyway lol)

                  I wouldn’t recommend though opening your laptop if its still got its warranty though. Just throwing that out there… Might as well get other people to fix it for free if thats the case. :weee:

                  Edit: Just a quick look up. Could be your CMOS battery is running low on your mother board.
