Like i was attempting to fit in the title;
If you are infact wondering what the hype about dubstep is message me, cause i hope to attempt to change your mind if you believe it is all like this:
YouTube – SKRILLEX – Kill EVERYBODY
which gives me a headache, i can really show you some lovely music behind the curtain of dubstep which makes it to the charts and is really offputting 😀
bit of an odd post, but just making the offer, its actually a very jammed style of music like an electronic reggae!
Also some songs with some VERY deep vibes and feelings, somehow conveyed in the music without lyrics….
thanks sam,
raaaMay 22, 2011 at 7:00 pm #1239581AnonymousGo on then give us a dubstep link which is ‘lovely music’?
EDIT: I also actually like skrillex hehe, I like all music.
May 22, 2011 at 7:16 pm #1239570Anonymousi like this kind of stuff: YouTube – The Specials – Ghost Town DJG Bootleg (Music Video) Dubstep Remix
but can’t really find other stuff similar cos when i search for dubstep i just get loads of abrasive crap 🙁May 22, 2011 at 7:19 pm #1239582AnonymousTo be honest I personally wouldn’t even call that dubstep not heavy enough for what I define as dubstep.. But here’s something kinda similar:
YouTube – Lloyds Tsb Dubstep Remix(Metaphi)| HDMay 22, 2011 at 7:27 pm #1239571Anonymous@Rellizate 436065 wrote:

brostep is skrillex rellizate how can you like skrillex if i saw him i’d head but him!I can like skrillex just like I like every other artist i think they have great technical skills. Their pitchshifting, modulation and vocal effects are really very good the best i’ve ever heard. Just because you don’t like someone doesn’t mean no one should be allowed to.
May 22, 2011 at 8:38 pm #1239588hahaha sorry man for me, with this one guy it should
not even guilty pleasure is allowed!May 23, 2011 at 4:36 pm #1239589nooone like at all :L
May 23, 2011 at 5:08 pm #1239572Anonymousfrom that list.. hmm.. i like
YouTube – Kryptic Minds feat. Alys Blaze – Time Flies
YouTube – Burial – Archangel
YouTube – Simian Mobile Disco – Cruel Intentions (Joker Remix)
YouTube – Gorillaz – Doncamatic (feat. Daley) Joker Remixand that is it. the others were either weird of boring or creepy.
May 25, 2011 at 12:39 pm #1239593Im more into my chillout style dubstep. Ive listened and been into it for years and consider myself to know a fiar bit about the stuff thats around in the genre. Since it all started out with Skream, Benga, MRK1 etc. etc. Love my original Dubstep but the filthy dubstep can be great to for when your messed up in the rave.

[YT]NMIeIaIRaQM[/YT]May 25, 2011 at 2:13 pm #1239573AnonymousI like dub I just dont like the step part.
But then I also dont get why people from the free party scene bitch so much about different genre’s. Doesn’t really encompass the free part of the movement really does it. Especially when people tell other people what they should like.
But then I dont really listen to dance music so what do I know lol

yeah except dubstep is absolute poo 😛
seriously the only people i see who really like it are like 16-17 who think it’s really cool, it’s not cool and it’s not dance music and completely ruins a party.
either way if you like it then go ahead but expect me to diss it whenever you post about how great it is!
one more thing if you think dubstep is ‘beauty’ then you really don’t have a scooby doo honestly, even to people who are into dubstep they must admit refering to dubstep as beauty is pretty damn silly.
May 26, 2011 at 1:40 am #1239578also i find it hard to take peoples music opinions seriously when they can’t appreciate more genres, makes me wonder if they even give other genres a chance or just isn’t cool in their circle of friends.
for example i listen on a daily basis and download etc Indie, rock n roll (50’s to present), ambient, acid techno, house (of all kinds), minimal, hardtek, reggae, breaks, psytrance, IDM, trip hop. these are my main styles i go for but i also do like a good bit of hard trance, euphoric trance and other trance, jungle (used to love this but all the new stuff is wank imo), drum n bass (but also refer to what i said about jungle), hip hop etc etc etc (also appreciate some classical and opera every now n then).
i don’t really care about being part of a scene like i see associated with these genres (dubheadz and all that shit) music is music take the time to actually listen to it and appreciate it!
btw this isn’t a personal attack on you darren this is just me venting some things that piss me off about music and people fitting in with their silly genres.
also djs really don’t impress me, i find a live band 100 times more impressive and creative! i swear a lot of djs just pre plan the mixes anyway or just practice the same mix over n over n over so even if they are freestyling they’re just doing the same shit over n over, it’s really boring!
anyway this is a pretty miserable post and i’m in a really good mood so i better stop now lol

You can definitely dance to it in certain atmospheres.

lWho said that people who listen to dubstep can’t appreciate other musical genres? My ipod has simon and garfunkle then slipknot and I also listen dubstep.
May 26, 2011 at 2:50 pm #1239590rellizate right behind you, i have a very wide array of music, just like you even i appreciate some classical music sometimes and im 16.
The people who listen to dubstep who think its cool is the very big percentage of ‘dubstep listeners’ but they are a bunch of idiots like you said 16-17 but i’d say 12-17 they just listen to ukfdubstep- anything on there is pure genius or so there told.
Besides dubstep is split again into two subgenres what i like, and then what rellizate appears to like, brostep.
I hate bro-step but whatever, bro-step definately suited to the rave scene, whereas if you actually listened to the music i posted p0ly you would see it is not whatsoever aimed to be at a rave, like i said its by yourself or with some friends in the background, and it IS good music, although there is a LOT of shite involved..
Rave:(rellizate please suggest something as i don’t really listen to it.
and what i like, ‘cool’ in the sense chilled music:
YouTube – Asa & Koan Sound – Kaneda
YouTube – Mala – In LuvMay 26, 2011 at 3:38 pm #1239585Anonymousyou want me to suggest what sort of music chilled dubstep? also stop saying brostep, brostep is when you have to make lots of music as fast as possible without quality whcih is not what i listen to…
July 12, 2011 at 5:14 pm #1239595there are some dubstep that are good for partys, pick up The Sound Of Dubstep 2, the first cd is worth a listen for some of the tracks that will get a party banging. but my favourite track from the album is Noisa – Machine Gun (16bit remix). and another favourite track thats not from the album is Skream Ft. Example – Shot Yourself In the foot again

Same as mate, can’t stand it. Dubpoo has no soul to it, it doesn’t make me believe in the butterflies so I cannot abide by it.
Of course I don’t mean to offend and for anyone offended I say this to you,

dubstep is shit, my opinion. don’t really care to be honest i obviously didn’t state in my post i didn’t mean every fucking person in the world IS EXACTLY HOW I SAY IT. but yeah w/e cba to bitch about gaystep anymore if you like it good for you, personally i’d rather shit myself and lick my ass hole afterwards.
