Fair play dr b , this one works way better on mobile devices too – sent my reply from my blackberry. Anyone here know how to get the “active topics” on the mobile setting?

Any way of changing the colour settings? The layout seems cool (once I’ve figured out were everything is I’m sure it’ll be even better) Just the mass of white backgound is a bit too much. Oh and do we still have an “unread posts” button? That was my favorit button on the whole of PV! (that and the post msg button ofc :P)

The mobile layout is abit wack on opera mini though (mobile).

On the full screen themes I think its been renamed to “active topics” but does much the same thing. I can’t find it on the mobile version.

Ah yeah – on most forums “active topics” just means ones recently posted on (and they don’t leave the list after you’ve viewed them) but our button does seem to work the same as the old unread posts one, so it’s all good. 😀

congrats on a smooth upgrade dr. b ! i am sure there was much midnight oil burnt and it looks really good. i especially like the chance to have a flowed layout now (and as a stick-in-the-mud am glad that the new-look boom skin is still an efficient use of screen space :-)). thankyou !

this means i get a second chance, in a few years time, at getting “new posts” search number 100,000, since i was offline the night it rolled over last week 🙂

Love the new look too – but struggling to loose the adverts (some of which are not particularly work friendly!) even though I am a subscriber….any tips?

TBH all this site work doc has done, it surprise me we do not have anymore bugs, ok I have been in every corner to check and try out and reported it when I found sumtin but it is not much to report….before I just used a few things on here, but the new set up have done it so you have it all just on your finger tips…so upload of pictures goes like autobahn, and the new front page rocks and would have been flying if we could get that fluid as well….FUCK spamhaus 2nite and lets drink a toast for a new good looking site! CHEERS!

The more I delve into the features the more I like this layout (I was unsure at first as it was a shock to the system) – it feels like we’ve traded in our old, but perfectly good and reliable, gas oven for a blinged up, glass topped, electric, infrared heated one. 😀

ad block extension….UPS the big secret….ad free inet everywhere….firefox got it safari got it opera got it for free I do not know with IE

that I well understand but i use it and I havent seen any ad yet…so in the mean time use it until its fixed….you probably love it, ad are so yesterday
