not sure exactly what seat of Government exists at Manchester. The only establishment things up there are somewhat ironically mainstream media, such as the BBC and Guardian, albeit with a slight left wing bias – would make sense not to shit on their doorstep..

Secondly when I was going on marches and signing petitions in the 1980s, the feds had to go to all the trouble of intercepting post and ‘phone calls, to fill up their databases on activists. Today people seem to want to do their work for them.
