After 2 long days, poor Mr Jingles must suffer no more. Old age has finally beaten him I’m afraid.
Not sure how to dispose of him now though – just want to do the decent thing by Mr Jingles , whilst not doing any damage to the planet – oh – and i spose i’d better not endanger any humans either 😉
I am an old cynic with no small children to upset – and so although i am very sad about Mr Jingles, and want to show him due respect, I assume I can skip the ritual side of things.
I WILL say a few words on sending him off, though I promise, he was a sweet little character.
RIP Mr Jingles, off to the giant hamster wheel in the sky 😥
October 20, 2010 at 4:43 pm #1230194Bury him in the garden.

October 20, 2010 at 4:56 pm #1230190I got 3! Just not sure if thats ok to do these days. Don’t wanna kill, or contaminate anyone or anything (I actually would love it, but maybe now isn’t the right time) – and laws and stuff no doubt exist these days!
Just thought id at least attempt to do the right thing. It’s a new hobby of mine you see:wink:

dont think there’s anything to stop you burring him in law. Do what feels most comfortable for you I guess
October 20, 2010 at 5:10 pm #1230188AnonymousHi 2old4this ,
I dont think burying him the garden will break any laws and its not bad for the enviroment , plus you could plant a bush or something above his grave and a little bit of Mr Jingles will live on .Regards

Erm . . .I have to confess this is not him, wish i had a good piccy of him. BUT – I googled, and this is an extremely close match, its just like him! Cute or wot?! Thank you for your kind words though.
Hate losing pets. Think the worst time was our gorgeous, and massive black labrador dog, Bobby, aged 14. Lovely dog, still miss him :love:The kids were small, and tearing at my heartstrings – and so I ended up digging a 4ft deep trench in the back garden! In the DARK. In pouring RAIN!
As we lifted him into the hole , one of his paws slipped out of the blanket he was in, and into the bright moonlight. Like something straigh out of a horror film! Just for a second, it totally freaked me out!:omg:October 20, 2010 at 5:13 pm #1230192@mungo1972 402592 wrote:
