some of the regulars may know I fell out with my sis a few years ago by commenting on her son’s behaviour and lack of boundaries / discipline and consistancy – she didnt like it – threw all the ‘grief’ she gets off our parents / bro at me and I’d had enough – as all I was trying to say was he wont be able to learn unless he knows these things and feels safe etc with boundaries

since we made it up I rarley have commented – as she reminds me regularily ‘you dont have kids, you dont know what its like’ etc -(they have 2 others – one girl and another boy who’s copying his elder bros behaviour) the school etc and some welfare officer is now involved…

so… a few weeks ago he (age 8)
ordered £250 worth of replica guns (with laser / view finders etc – quite real looking) a crossbow etc on line – using his dads paypal account,
then took his dads sim and battery out of his balckberry so he wouldnt get the sale email
(very clever and ingenious – though devious!)

he had no discipline or concequences to this, just a telling off

(I mean its not like a tenner!!!)

they tried to cancell the order etc and couldnt

so the guns etc came – they put in the loft and he has since removed and hidden then x 4 and calls his parent liars when they confront him – and creates – they have been replaced in the loft …… for them to be removed and hidden again by him

so…. I said nothing – as last time she kicked off at me

then at the weekend he stole £150 cash (which had been put to one side to pay some school trip for their daughter)
claimed it was his birthday money and again accused them of lying when they removed it they told him off etc – but he again recieved no punishment / concequence to his behaviour

she was then going on about how he has no idea of the impact of his behaviour on others etc, and I (fucking stupidly) said again prehaps this is because he doesnt have concequences or boundaries so hasnt learnt and she went ballistic at me again, going on about how I’m not a parent – I dont know etc
so I said – ok I’ll not say anything and just listen and not comment any more – and got accused of being aggressive and told to stop!!!!

I am now fucking livid

our dad – said get the local copper to have a word with him – she said no as she thinks she’ll need them when he’s older and then that hes not frightened of em so it wouldnt do anything anyway so he then (being as neanderthal as ever) said give him a slap – she reminded him it didnt do anything for us as kids

ahhhh!!! sorry to go on but am home alone and feel the need to ventilate!!!!
