Eastenders is the multicultural equivalent of a black and white minstrel show and it annoys me that our national broadcasters license money is spent of making this crap and worse transmitting it to the whole world, as if many foreigners don’t get enough bad examples of London and England as it is from the real life news and crime reports..
Amazing it took them 20 years to discover drugs as a story line..

I think the media is probably trying to look “edgy” for the last moments of “freedom” until the Conservacrats decide they have had enough and start censoring the content by one means or another. In Western nations we don’t have feds openly tellling artists what to produce, but the market economy can be used very effectively to censor content such as TV shows which are expensive to make….
