Wow didn't know I owned a Porsche Boxster.

Just went through my emails and opened one from a Porsche dealership informing me that my Boxster is due for a MOT service. They also said I should ring as soon as possible to sort it all out.

Well I rang em up and told em I don’t own a Porsche Boxster. They said the car belongs to a Mr [insert my name here] which was correct.

I’m shitting myself at this point thinking someone has stolen my identity, then he went through the address which luckily was different to mine.

Turns out it was all an innocent mistake and has been sorted but I really didn’t need that. :laugh_at:

I take it its a garage you have used yourself in the past? otherwise how did they get the address? tell them you want compensation and they have breached the data protection act 😉

It was the email address, Apparently the bloke who owns the motor has the same email address as me but the garage missed out a dot in between our names.

Maybe I should ring em back and ask for a new xbox and only then shall I consider the matter closed. 😉
