I’ve put this here as it would otherwise immediately identify me to cops (particularly TVP) – now I’m not really into flaky new age stuff like analysing dreams but this did spook me a bit..

As you all know, I take my amateur criminology very seriously. A few days ago I read the crime report of that unfortunate girl being murdered in Reading.

I did not know at the time her age, ethnicity or background nor did I attempt to find out, I respect the fact that TVP would wait until the parents have had a chance to compose themselves and deal with the media. That night I had these totally random dreamlike thoughts about the layout of my high school, and was suprised at how much I remembered about it.

I had not had any other experiences or triggers what would make me suddenly think of high school, some 20 years later. Even when I have had odd dreams about high school days they have been in a “generic” high school with a very inaccurate layout compared to my real one.

This was different. Suddenly the whole plan of the place, the courtyards, corridors, sixth form building flooded back into my mind (as you would expect me and my mates explored it with a a fine toothcomb and we knew all the places what weren’t well known to hide up in, hidden attics and all sorts).

but it wasn’t even a whole dream about school but like a slideshow/movie of certain areas – the stairwell in the central bit (left of the canteen), then moving left from there past the computer room, then a room used for French classes, along past the staff room and reception.

at that point you can either go straight out of main entrance past reception, or right into the Sixth Form area. Then the sequence changed to the inside and then the outside of the Sixth form building (this being the old building shown in the BBC picture).

it was as if my brain was linked to a CCTV camera control unit, tracking through these areas, although curiously the school was devoid of any pupils or staff, just a real feeling of emptiness and unease..

BTW this is the route any sixth former would take from the main block to the 6th form block – lower years were forbidden to take that right turn…

Yesterday this news report was released, where it became apparent she attended the same high school I did (albeit 20 years later) Look carefully at pictures 7 and 8 (the big building is where my “dream” ended up)
