I’m a right loser i know.
But the council has given us a new bin that you put ALL your recycling in. Including nearly all plastic. I can now recycle almost everything. And its really easy as it all just goes in one bin.

Can’t believe how much i love it. Bit annoying though that half my washing up now seems to be washing up the rubbish!

at my house we got a big wheelie bin, a paper recycling, a glass recycling, and two plastic recycling boxes

perhaps it is going into a multi-compartment bin lorry (they have been used elsewhere in Europe for decades) but its pointless going to all that trouble if the rubbish is all getting mixed up …

i’ve tried to look into it but cant find much.
The thing im most excited about is the fact that they are taking almost all plastics.
i’m presuming they have some sort of system at the other end to seperate the recyling into the different types.

what the fuck! bristol council are a bunch of wankers! bin men have been on strike for the past 2 weeks the streets have been overflowing! and they refuse to take plastic! basterds!
i allways wash up the recycling, i think its best, if i was sorting the rubbish at the other end i wouldnt want to handle shite all day! but i spose they still do! its just my way of sayin thanks!
