Pink Floyd-Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part I-II-III
Can’t embed this, isn’t letting me probably cos it’s one proper hefty tune!!!

April 7, 2009 at 10:53 pm #1196458love it… theyre on my “sleep” playlist
because im so hardcore that this music + psy helps me get to sleep and have lovely dreams..either way… love em 🙂 their stuff is fun to play on guitar + bass too!
April 7, 2009 at 11:05 pm #1196446Yeah, used to listen to their stuff a lot. The early “proper” flloyd stuff and all the way up to the division bell. Haven’t listened to them for a while now though.
As for the film, if you are talking about the wall, yeah it is pretty nuts.
April 7, 2009 at 11:29 pm #1196449me too, also was lucky enough to see em live :bounce_fl
April 8, 2009 at 12:56 pm #1196448You mean there are people out there who don’t/haven’t listened to Floyd? If there are then they are seriously missing out – Floyd are the best band ever – sheer and utter musical genius… I have Dark side of the moon and Wish you were here on vinyl, and just about everything else they’ve done on CD…
Dark side is my favourite (closely followed by Wish you were here and Piper at the gates)…raaa

April 10, 2009 at 10:13 pm #1196441AnonymousIm quite a big fan of pink flloyd, and keith flloyd.
April 11, 2009 at 7:46 am #1196457There’s a geniune original of dark side.. at Vinyl Vault in Cheltenham £250 in near mint condition for any vinyl buffs out there. They know their stuff and its a safer bet than ebay.
I got the mobile fidelity sound lab vinyl pressing that used half speed mastering (£50). Sounds fab on my Rega P5, well worth it if you have a good set up
April 11, 2009 at 8:13 am #1196442AnonymousI love floyd and the echoes album in paticular
but my fav tune is set the controls for the heart of the sun

Love this film!! 😉

This scene in particular gets me. If certain parties (bnp) got in power then it would be like this and fuck me we don’t need this shit in our country!
April 11, 2009 at 8:45 am #1196451I love pink floyd i’ve got a couple of albums and the film too.
April 11, 2009 at 8:58 am #1196454I remember a while back my work were throwing out old albums that weren’t selling. Had a look through em and found a Pink Floyd album, can’t remember the name of it but had some wicked tracks on it!
April 11, 2009 at 9:17 am #1196450I’m going to see a Pink Floyd cover band next weekend, meant to have a wicked lightshow. May have to make some special cakes to enhance the evening.
April 11, 2009 at 11:03 am #1196445very talented band but the Wall certainly isn’t chill out stuff
when I first watched it I was a young lad doing acid for the first time and and living in SE London; it was early 1992 – afterwards I had to get back from Brockley to Eltham (where I then lived), Eltham was a BNP stronghold (Stephen lawrence was killed shortly afterwards).
Certainly a “interesting” journey home (and reminds me why I got out of “Londonistan”)
April 11, 2009 at 12:55 pm #1196455I love pink floyd especially the syd barratt days, the bio wrote by nick mason is amazing.
Dark side is one of my fav album without barratt, but you can definately hear the change in music after they kicked him out it was almost like joy divison to new order.
Wish you were here is a beautful song, its nice to know they still paid him tribute.April 16, 2009 at 1:52 pm #1196443AnonymousI saw Roger Waters at Live Earth a couple of years ago – by far the highlight of the day.
Apparently, Guy Pratt is now touring as a stand-up, talking about his time on the road:
Guy Pratt
He must have great stories – I bet it’d be a great show…random though, lol! -
