What happened?Half of the power supply’s weren’t working, they made us face our system about 15 metres away from a wall and didn’t let in about 30 people for no id even though one of the bar staff lastnight was 17!!!
One of the managers didn’t want it to happen from the begining but had to coz the place only gets 5 people max on a saturday as it is.
The bloke who booked us wanted us to come and do something again in january we declined.
All in all the the people who did go/get in had a good time and the venue took about £400 more behind the bar then the normally do.

I wouldn,t bother with that place anymore either mate.
December 14, 2008 at 10:01 pm #1189239I’m not surprised the economy is fucked when the banks lend money to muppets like that, and in the evening star there’s loads of reports of venues closing down to lack of business :hopeless:
tweedledum and tweedledee need to sort their heads out or they are going to lose the business what was presumably their dream, a recession ain’t the time for east anglian stubborness when people are trying to help them out :you_crazy
December 15, 2008 at 11:20 am #1189246Exactly GL we didn’t charge them a penny either.
We done it for free to prove we could get a good crowd in (not full of chavs) and they still didn’t show any respect to us or try and help us out. Funny thing is the place is always closed coz no ones goes in there
ah well i’ll give it a year till it changes hands yet again (5 or 6 times in the last ten years):you_crazy -
