just had a Christian newspaper put through my door by the dad of one of those dead prostitutes.. (thought I recognised that bloke from somewhere)
I do live in the same area where she’s from so its not surprising though..
July 4, 2008 at 4:07 pm #1175586I wonder if he turned to Christianity after all that happened??
July 6, 2008 at 6:27 pm #1175582TBH I suspect they were god squad long before all this (that sort of middle england Christian mindset is rife here) and its those sort of arguments over her lifestyle what made her rebel/get addicted :hopeless:
something I have never said until now (for reasons which will soon become obvious!) is that at one of the first raves I went to in East Anglia me and Doolittle briefly ended up chatting to Tom Stephens (the first suspect, who was declared innocent and TBH sounded like he was trying to warn Tania’s parents something dodgy was going on).
Then in October 2006 I went to a local pub night and got invited to a afterparty in some lads house.. At one point two girls came in, there was one like a half-caste version of vicky pollard and another quieter, mixed race girl who sat on the end of a bed looking troubled and stressed – as if she was “hiding” from something.
I am 90% sure that was Tania Nicol as she looked identical I’ve never seen that girl since and although Ipswich is multicultural there aren’t many ethnic minority people on the party/club scene..
bear in mind that would have made me one of the last people to see her – – and I was an “older male what hung around with younger people” so fitted the profiles feds must have been looking for and I thought I might have been on CCTV at that rave…
I was a bit para for months afterwards until the cops caught Steve Wright and the case was properly closed….
July 6, 2008 at 6:35 pm #1175580There were some christian types at Ground Zero last night…

FFS. We don’t rave in their churches (they’d have us arrested) so why can’t they leave the festivals alone?
they are really going for it this year with targetting “sheep what have lost their way” (i.e young drug users), they done for that mad girl in bedford from SJ (also there are cops amongst them and thats how they get “confessions” particularly info on drug users/dealers)
thing is I’m usually tolerant with regard to religions if they are tolerant with me but the Church of England chills me a bit because they aren’t separated from the state. Here the street pastors patrol Ipswich along with coppers… Also I did read their newspaper with an open mind and there wasn’t a single Roman Catholic place of worship in what was claimed to be a supposedly ecumenical paper.

July 11, 2008 at 12:28 pm #1175584round here churches don’t normally get “disused”. Either they are full and popular or the trustees look after the building and/or use it for storage or convert it
ironically my mates were going to (legally) do a event in a converted church but that colchester emo crew done one there playing breakcore and it ended up with residents making a formal complaint and sound limiters being installed !

If it’s any consolation this lot got an earful for quite some time from my mate on a whole range of topics…
