why you have your section for the subscribers visable on the board , when the only ones who can access it are subscribers, why is it not private, like make it only seen and used by those members,
my reason………. you see a tread like “ban spark plug”, but you cant access it…. so whats the point of it been visible to the other members :you_crazy

at the end of the day i dont need to subscribe , its the www, and its a fairly opren forum , so most stuff in there im sure is out and about, i just dont see why if something is private why you should display info thats on there, sort off beats the object of it been private

Ahh right, I get it now. I hadn’t noticed it was in the subscribers forum. Wondered what that was about last night.

In answer to the question, I guess it’s visible because it shows that you get extras for donating, it’s not just a different coloured name there are a lot of perks. The board is mainly run out of Dr Bunsen’s pocket and it costs a suprising amount of money to keep this place running (not to mention the amount of hard work and time) so giving people a little bit of encouragement to donate is all well and good.

Besides, there is nothing elitist about the subscribers forum. It just gives people a chance to talk a litlle more openly without fear of security implications.
