happened to me loads of times in pubs and ‘propper’ clubs

haha i remeber walking past a trendy bar with a friend who was slightly more dressed up than me .. he wanted to go in to check it out … the bouncer said to me …”sry no trainers m8″ …so i took my trainers off and tryed to get in bare foot :laugh_at: ….obviously to no prevail but was worth it for the laugh :crazy_dru

the thing I found so mad was we all used to regularily drink in this pub
and get there daily around 430pm,
so all the lads in their ‘mannual’ work clothes (dirty smelly, work (steelies) boots and trainer alike)
would get in as it was before the bouncer came on, but after 6 you couldnt get in in trainers…….
so if they’d pop to mac filth they couldnt get back in??
but we was already in there……
whats the difference??
my friend also had an argument with a bouncer that didnt help in this club in gloster,
where she stated my trainers probaly cost more then his shoes….
we got escorted off the premises without even getting in :you_crazy

haha i got into a fight because a friend of mine made a joke along the same lines as that in gaff on a wall after i had made the same joke in person to the guy ..he thought i took it to far when it was just my m8 being a dick … but thats another story….
i used to work in a pub with the same kind of regeam as the one you are talking about … i used to go there to drink as well … bloody bouncers used to make me cue up if i turned up to drink and even tryed to make me cue up once or twice if i turned up for work lol ..also tryed to id me to get into work lol … had to make one of them go inside and get my boss to confurm i worked there …. in there defence they where pritty new bouncers ..still made me laugh tho …they also did the same thing with people that where drinknig there and didn’t work there … ie. if you where allready in there it was fine to not conform to dress code ..but if you turned up later you had to

we are meant to be out on sat and have been told to bring ID – the girl whos birthday it is is ganno be 33 and we’re all over 30……
suppose it should be a compliement but seeing as I used to get into this place when I was 15 I dont really get it :you_crazy

yeah i had no problem getting into most places round here when i was about 15-17 …. then as soon as i turned 18 i seemed to get id’ed for about a year or two …lol it’s ok now as im starting to bald (remeber getting id’d in a pub and not having it on me …. the bar girl said you don’t look 18 ..so i took my hat off and said how about now … she replyed “hmm yeah you look alot older now” and served me ..haha)

my sister got ID’d for buying fags,
she had 2 of her kids with her (age 4 and 8 at the time) and said I’m 32 and these are me kids the woman said – well you never know these days dear……..

a friend of mine got id’d for rizzla once (didn’t have any) and went off on one about it just being paper ..he kinda has got a point tho
