December 13, 2007 at 1:47 pm #1126828However, Pratchett adds: “I would just like to draw attention to everyone reading the above that this should be interpreted as, ‘I am not dead’. I will, of course, be dead at some future point, as will everybody else. For me, this maybe further off than you think – it’s too soon to tell.
“I know it’s a very human thing to say, “Is there anything I can do?” but in this case I would only entertain offers from very high-end experts in brain chemistry.”

Alzheimers’s is a fucking horrible disease. a member of my family has developed the early stages of it and it ain’t nice at all. We had a family get-together last sunday and my relative couldn’t remember who i was! It was like she was in her own reality and our’s was all wrong. She even asked where her daughter was and her daughter drove her to the house:apathy:. I ain’t too clued up on this condition but i’ve heard it can’t be cured, Does anyone know if thats true?

Read most of the Discworld series, just reminded me I bought a Discworld book I haven’t read yet..Sourcery..
I love how Discworld is written;
Quote:Great A’Turin swam slowly through the interstella deeps like the largest turtle there has ever been, carrying on its carapace the four huge elephants that bore on their backs the vast, glittering waterfall-fringed circle of the Discworld, which exists either because of some impossible blip on the curve of probability or because the gods enjoy a joke as much as anyone.Sourcery, Terry Pratchett
