i’ve tickled about a bit of poi

nothing worth watching, but i find it very relaxing to learn new stuff.. for me it’s like moving meditation.. if i get it wrong and get frustrated by that, i make more mistakes… if i chill out and relax, i can improve my technique

that guy in the video was a good performer and had lots of tricks, but wasn’t fast enough to cause those multiple rings of light… just my opinion

I think it was the musc in that video that got me going more than anyhing!

Bought some fire poi a year ago, i looked at them and hung them on my wall and decided i was going to learn how to use poi before i let myself loose with the fire ones.

Well they are still hanging on my wall and i havent tried to do it muchh since, need to find someone who can teach me locally 😉

i love watching poi, i think when its done slowly its best, really controlled and elegant,

ive got some poi and can so far do one trick… after that it just gets very dangerous….

Better than me then, i am stuck at the whole spinning part! Yes i know its the most basic and important thing……………….

if i am angry with myself i do poi (not to calm me down) but to punish me for the mistake i have made

a poi to the balls hurts but is also uplifting

i always seem to whack maself in the nuts when i use poi coz i try n look cool n do a trick i cant actually do and it goes all pear shaped!

well i can’t be doing that badly then… i learnt how to do the butterfly behind my head in about 5 minutes :weee:
