Finally made it here, hello one and all.
Hopefully this will be a happy stay, so please be gentle.

saw the name on here earlier – if its who I think it is thats a blast from the past….
I’m now 150 miles away from where I was when I last saw you, I don’t miss Reading one bit but I do miss all the people I used to party with..seems like all the old party crew been dispersed a bit, some doing parties in foreign lands, some quietened down, some hiding from TVP or gone legal…
but if you look on here there’s a new bunch of people coming through from your area who still want to party 😉

It certainly is who you think it is, finally stepped out of the squaller thats sj.
We (the pro may crew) still doing it locally, finding little venues n doing our own thing. Avoiding tvp is a speciality :wink:.
The project storm thing keeps us above board at the coven and is getting better and better, we got the room 2 on the 25th of september. Although i dont see it advertised on here…yet

Since you’ve last been on here, there was a spate of promoters just spamming the place with commercial event posts and contributing nothing (often they were from outside the UK) – to keep the underground ethos of this site the admins decided that any events with an entry charge should be on “paid for” threads (or subscribers have full posting access to these forums)
Stuff has to be paid for but we didn’t want this place just turning into an advert farm or having to take more and more banner ads to pay the hosting costs etc..
storms old website is still on our servers somewhere lol!

August 22, 2007 at 3:59 pm #1118628@ starlaugh – If you enjoy a local crews events and want to support them its perfectly OK to relay their ads provided the promoters are also OK with this – I’ve done this myself for some of the East Anglian crews…
as a subscriber you should have full posting access to the “UK-Events” section (if you get any warning messages about charges let us know and we will try and fix this)
