June 29, 2007 at 2:29 pm #1114485I was a dental nurse for 4 years and i know wisdom teeth can be such a pain in the arse!:group_hug
Best thing for the pain is Ibuprofen as it acts as an anti-inflammatory aswell. (as long as your not allergic to asprin based pain killers)
Hope you feel better soon. 🙂

See that’s my problem, i can’t take anti-inflammatories or asprin based things coz of my blood disorder… so paracetamol just doesn’t cut it..

June 29, 2007 at 6:40 pm #1114492How about CO-codamols for pain? Go to dentist and ask to be knocked out while they take em out. good chance the anesthetist will dose you with K. It’s a real pain after though, bleeding gums and everything for ages.

June 29, 2007 at 7:50 pm #1114489Oh I like extractions now, my dentist uses a fabulous combination of midazolam and diazepam…Last time I lost a whole day!
I ususally end up having to put the cannula in myself though where my veins are so battered :hopeless:June 29, 2007 at 7:50 pm #1134807Oh I like extractions now, my dentist uses a fabulous combination of midazolam and diazepam…Last time I lost a whole day!

No Rx required. Often the osmosis works and thats all you need to do.If that doesn’t sort out the problem then best to get someone to take em out for you.
