this is one of the pics baraka v surge last sat night and in this photo i believe i look rather intent on hitting somebody across the other side of the room …. (im the one of the left just so theres no confusion:groucho: )
anyone else got a sentence to describe the pic as they see it?

im only saying this because im now worried being the deep south that is berks ill be at a party and some person will find me, beat me and possibly make ”choo choo” noises while persuing to have me in a game called tomm being bummed unwantingly

Yeah kicked in good and proper at bloody 6am! i was fooked! cant remember much apart from going into a daze and spinning out!

some raver obviously on a few substances was trying to mosh, if you will, with other ravers but to be honest, no one wanted to.
he rubbed some massive chav up the wrong way (the chavs where all doing the hardman sit on the the same seat all night with arms crossed staring at everybody thing) and he hit him good and proper, had a few kicks to the guys head then the guys mates pulled him up it didnt help he didnt want to be give be given treatment or be taken to baraka organisers for assistance (see as though by law there has to be a first aider on site or so i believe) so i tomm, the safe raver, went and got a bouncer because to be honest the bouncers hardly went in there and this guy looked like crap … no offence if you ever read this thread bro 🙂

TBH that is the first time i have seen trouble in there! its usually all laid back, i hate it when there is violence as it does bring you down.
sometimes it puts me on edge, Well i refused to let anything get me down that night as i had already had a strange one! :hopeless:

even at the best run events you have the random “big angry bloke” who is perfectly civil to the bouncers and then randomly goes and beats the shit out of someone, and its usually the sort of person who is willing to take on bouncers and even cops… the only way of dealing with them is to bar them but you can’t just bar someone before they’ve done anything…
it pisses me off though as violent lowlife even though they can’t win can always make everyone lose by getting venues and promoters in trouble… a local crew here put on a free event for a crew birthday in Stowmarket and some pissheads fought and got it closed down…

problem is that although he shouldn’t escape justice, if people go to the cops TVP may log it as a “black mark” against the promoters and management of the Coven –
And if someone is prepared to fight in front of 20 witnesses they probably aren’t worried about being nicked, and would probably counterclaim in Court that “they were pushed and shoved by someone on drugs
They maybe even grass up a few others out of spite (or to try and get their penalty reduced) – some so-called “hard men” sing like canaries when they are sat in the interview room.

If the raves close down, they can still fight in the town centres, so they don’t care what happens – the only way to deal with them is to make it clear they are not welcome ….
March 19, 2007 at 1:20 pm #1101551but being the people that they are, how do you tell them they are not welcome without a reaction?(like the display last sat night). im mainly talking about free parties due to the fact as you said GL they can be barred from legal events like the one at coven, but with difficulty, from personal experience (not me, a friend) it takes a lot to bar someone, a lot more in some cases that what they lad did on sat …
