I was having a think, here at partyvibe there is such a community, i have only been here for a blink of an eye in comparison to others. At a party, free or legal, i would never no who belonged to P.V from looking around although i go to a lot of parties i have never really met anyone of here so what about it? partyvibe merch
re reading it i think i sound reet nerdy raaa
February 22, 2007 at 5:29 pm #1100192I know waht you meen i never meet people from partyvibe at partys! Its seems strange considering i live in the thames valley area and there ares so many peolple from around here on this site!
Would be cool te meet some people from on here though to see what they look like, how they really act ect ect. I think i could be pretty funny in some cases!February 22, 2007 at 5:43 pm #1100187I think PartyVibe needs 2 start making tshirts! Usernames on the back, does sound a tad camp, but would result in a large amount of hugs and lengthy convos!
February 22, 2007 at 6:26 pm #1100197exactly! itd be fantastic! id finally feel part of something 😀
February 22, 2007 at 7:22 pm #1100189haha wud result in sum funny fucked moments at parties

February 22, 2007 at 9:18 pm #1100183why not get one of those fabric fun pens and paint partyvibe on your t-shirts? :groucho:
February 22, 2007 at 11:48 pm #1100201ive designed t shirts before, do i have p.vs permission?
February 23, 2007 at 12:33 am #1100185t-squirt wud be good! it’d be a bit of a pain to organise tho, maybe raj is right, DIY-style!
A hoodie would be even better.
Unless! what we need is somebody with loads of time, and loads of money, to go and get a shedload of good quality ones made, and then sell em to us and then give the huge profits to PV… and then put the hundreds of unsold ones in some back room, take the financial hit for them, whilst claiming to have ‘virtually’ sold out, and keep on smilin…volunteers?
February 23, 2007 at 12:39 am #1100186Actually, fuck it, i’ll volunteer to help, DA…i had a bit of a look at some websites, there is one called revolutionshirts, they are based near me.
I think this ought to be a moderator approved thing, but the mods already put time and effort into PV, so i think its asking a bit much for them to be doin this as well.
What do you reckon peeps?
February 23, 2007 at 1:44 am #1100202ive got a friend who designs and prints t shirts/hoodys etc but as was said this needs the moderator approval
id like to front this project, if allowed 🙂
February 23, 2007 at 9:00 am #1100194If you wanted to keep the costs down and not have 1 person purchase a batch of them, you can search google and there are loads of t-shirt printing sites.
You can design you own t-shirt hoodies, so if the Mods were cool with it and you had a logo you could knock your own t-shirt together.
Would also mean that the girls could have them skinny fit ones and you would all look individual but still know that you use this site.
On the other hand if the mods do say do what ya want and have a logo, it would be great advertisement for the site. raaa
February 23, 2007 at 10:16 am #1100203advertising the site could be what swings the mods decision, a logo would be easy enough, a logo for the whole site would be great but would need to pass with the mods and there may be a dispute over who designs it etc, the guy who designs my e.p covers is great and has designed t shirts before
i think it is a great idea, i had the same idea ages ago wanting to bring people together, now i no partyvibe, there are like minded people out there, could a t shirt bring em together?
February 23, 2007 at 10:31 am #1100195Would be fun to be out mashed and then spot someone dancing away with a top on that is show PV! Would have to go over and say hello! Well actually it would be more like the usually gibberish that pours out my gob when on my party stuff (“,)
But i would like to see if the people from here are actually as friendly in real life as they are on here! raaa
February 23, 2007 at 10:38 am #1100204if not by t shirt, hoody or stationary set how else!?
February 23, 2007 at 12:15 pm #1100178most of the PV people are friendly in real life as well but until recently our userbase has been spread out across the UK and the World
although a few months ago we’ve had a large influx of people who all live in the same area of SE England. I think it simply started off with one crew from Oxford joined up here and told their friends…
I’ve got nothing against the merchandise idea but its something this site has originally shied away from doing as we represent the more underground rave scene which wasn’t so much about labels or brands…
but if it helps people find one another seems OK….
That said there is a facility for profile pictures here and its easy enough to use private messages to get in touch with people, and exchange pics via MSN or email (you can’t attach stuff to PM’s here as the software doesn’t have that function)

I do see what you mean GL, keeping it a low key keeps the site more to what i can see as its “roots”. It would no longer really be a site that is underground as every man and his dog would know. I never really thought of it in that way before…
Obviously you cant go “i am going to a free party in blah blah on the what ever of when ever, whos going?” as thats just well bone headed! But people could give a shout out to say if they were going to any legal events and arrange to meet that way. As i think once you have met them once you will know who they are when you bump into them again….
See i might keep it simple! i might get a fabric pen and grab a top and scribble my username across the back…
February 23, 2007 at 2:39 pm #1100188I think ive come up with a stonker of an idea here…
February 23, 2007 at 6:58 pm #1100205ive just done mine, watch our berkshire, its my coca cola top, digital artery on the back … top stuff
February 23, 2007 at 7:26 pm #1100180I’m with GL on the actual production of the merchandise but I’d just like to point out that people can get their own merchandise shops with certain sites. All you do it upload your images and then you can place them on any type of product.
You don’t even have to buy stock as it’s just a virtual shop, so you direct people to the site and if they buy something the company who run the website print the image on to the desired product and send it out.
Does that make any sense?
