find the acidfairy – she is into silly speeds 😉
August 7, 2006 at 12:00 am #1085103Years ago I used to like Gabba. Between 93-95. HMS, Producer, Scorpio etc.
Too much for me now though. I prefer things with more of a groove.
I can still listen to it and enjoy it though. As long as it doesn’t last too long 😉
August 7, 2006 at 12:04 am #1085115Much too fast for my aging dance limbs. More of a progressive/Goa trance man myself.
August 7, 2006 at 12:09 am #1085110i wouldnt like to hear it all the time but i do like to hear it occasionallyraaaraaaraaa
i keep an hours worth in my record box for those nights when some [poor unsuspecting] person asks if i have something a little harder:groucho::groucho::groucho: and then i whip it out with great joy and gusto and play it very very loud:wink:

Give it to them hard raj:groucho: :groucho:on one memorable night i got heckled by a group of what the english call chavs [neds to us] who wanted something much harder than what i was playing at the time…so i played a couple of quality gabba tunes for them and before the third one was out of its sleeve they came and asked [very nicely mind] if i could go back to what i had been playing before:you_crazy:you_crazy:you_crazy:groucho: :groucho: :groucho:

raaaraaaraaaraaaraaaAugust 7, 2006 at 12:53 pm #1085114There should always be a little bit of space in all our souls for a bit of Hardcore.Sometimes nothin else makes sense:wink:
August 7, 2006 at 4:01 pm #1085105YEs same here.
Speed Freak is a wicked speedcore artist. Also Headbanger. And Hellfish although i would say he was more of a ‘hip-hop hardcore’ kinda guy.
I also love mixing up some speedcore, 200 bpm raaa
Heres a station playing some speedcore/hardcore/breakcore :

August 8, 2006 at 2:40 pm #1085106Anyone here heard or (or into) UltraViolence ?
I personally think they are great, seen em live a couple of times with angle grinders etc… Wicked remix of Paranoid by them. Quite old stuff but fast as u like gabba and general darkness, possibly industrial in places.
August 8, 2006 at 3:25 pm #1085120n1 sdz, just got a couple of his tracks, bit straight n 90s maybe, but some of the scapes r spot on :bounce_g::bounce_g::bounce_g::bounce_g::bounce_g:,E think gabbas recently got more skwify givin the rise of breakcore, extreme example would be making orange things.. (speedranch n snares)
check out this (UK) breezeblock mix by handchop, some of the breaks make me messy http://barnofhell.com/saskrotch_files/knifehandchop_-_breezeblockset.mp3
:groucho:August 8, 2006 at 3:43 pm #1085107Yeah i saw Knifehandchop live at Glade festival this year ( a few weeks ago in fact). Wicked wicked set.. Thanks for the link m8y.
Yes ultraviolence are very 90’s (and some might say a tad goth) but i think they were ahead of their time.
Im gonna record a new speedcore set soon, ill post the link up here for everyone.
