i plan to strike last week from my memories if at all possible…

blew the master brake cylinder on my car trying to do an emergency stop – went and got the part and a mate fitted it for me [thank you very much you star]; tested the brakes – still not working as i have blown a large hole in the servo motor too:you_crazy:you_crazy:you_crazy

went to get the part [scrappy 30 miles away – joys of living in the sticks] and as i got into the car i was driving the central locking on a child proofed door failed – this had to be stripped down to open it again at which plate the cause became obvious: the lock plate had come loose [in fact 3 of 4 lock plates had to be taken off and refitted correctly on checking the other doors…]

my dad was rushed into hospital on wednesday after falling over – turns out he had a minor stroke but still:hopeless::hopeless::hopeless:

waited 3 days for a builder to turn up having cancelled all my work for the week and he kept not turning up:rant::rant::rant:

we were laying concrete at the time and took the [it later turned out to be very poor] advice of some one to use cement i was a bit dubious about; two tons of concrete mix which had to be dug out again as it didnt set:rant::rant:all of which i shovelled and mixed:hopeless:
had to start again and we are now 3/4 of the way through 4 tons of concrete to be mixed

because i was out mixing the cement for longer than i thought i missed two weeks filming work as the guy couldnt get hold of me and it was well paid too:cry::cry::cry:

we were told by the water board how to cap off a pipe that needed to be blanked as it goes no where and after we finished we realised it was leaking still – turned out ok as the valve which was leaking was so old we were able to tighten it up rather than replace it – another serious bad hair moment

my dog had to be rushed to the vet because she couldnt walk properly – turns out my todller had bruised her back – grrrrr – she is fine now

the list actually goes on believe it or not but i am going to stop there as i dont want to remember the rest of it…

anyway thats why i have been so quiet this week:groucho: just in case you all missed me:wink:
