Hi,
Does any1 know where i could get replacement stylus for stanton discmaster II’s from?? I’ve looked about and its going to cost nearly £50 just for 2! I know there are plenty of Dj’s on this site so any help would be grateful!!!
Thank Youuuu!:wink:July 24, 2006 at 12:49 pm #1083843July 24, 2006 at 12:57 pm #1083833Jusy had a look around a few of the shops I use and none of them stock the Discmaster II stylus. Plenty of Discmaster v3 though if they will fit the II’s??

July 24, 2006 at 1:16 pm #1083834That’s for the cart aswell. They don’t seem to do the stylus by itself.

The provide much better performance than spherical stylii. ( ie EL v AL stylii on Stantons ).
Although I have have Stanton carts ( due to getting a very good deal ) I really like the Concords. Ask Raj and No Name about them – they have used them for the last couple of years.
July 26, 2006 at 8:21 pm #1083841love the concordes for several reasons
the sound is great:love:
they track unbelievably better than any other cartridge we have ever used and we have used lots [you have to take the time to set them up correctly WRT tone arm height etc but it is totally worth it]
you can see exactly where you are on the record [no squinting req’d]
it is almost impossible for some one too blutack a 2p or 5p piece to the headshell although why they want to?:you_crazy
dont cost the earth [relatively speaking]
they last for ages if looked after properly:weee: our went for much much more 1000 hours with us [and they were secondhand when we got them with considerable club use already]
and you can scratch with them too:groucho::groucho::groucho:
July 27, 2006 at 7:29 am #1083836cheers for the advice, might get them numark scratch pervert ones as theyre 2 for 60 quid
