Backs up Thunderbird too
I use it all the time.
However – any Firefox updates I’ve had have retained all my bookmarks etc.
More likely is your profile might have become corrupted – worth checking it’s still there.
June 29, 2006 at 3:51 pm #1080653Sorry im rubbish with computers, where would I find my profile ?
The google thing doesn’t work now either
June 29, 2006 at 4:00 pm #1080649Look in your C drive/Documents and Settings/Your User Name/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/the next folder will be called something.default, then your bookmarks should be in that folder as an HTML file
Check that they are actually there and if Firefox is still not displaying them as normal then open ‘Manage Bookmarks’ from the Bookmarks menu in Firefox and import them as a fileIts faintly possible, if i remember right, that you may not have an Application Data folder visible,…if this is the case, then open your Control Panel and then the Folder Options folder then click the View tab and in the list of options displayed, there will be an option to show hidden files and folders.
