June 5, 2006 at 8:59 pm #1078041Sorry to hear that… its one bad day after another at work for me these days just seems to be the way it is…still it pays the bills etc etc and I expect little else.
I’ve kinda given up lookin for any kind of genuine fullfillment in the workplace ..anyone got a job they could truley recommend on any other basis than cash ??
June 5, 2006 at 9:19 pm #1078042well, not sure wehter it would be for you or not, but i am basing my career path on satisfaction and not cash so im gonna go for a 3yr bsc in countryside managment and hopefully spend my life working in the greatoutdoors.

Its not a bad job if you become a field officer at one of the nature preservation departments in as you basically get paid to go round the countryside, identify, count and take photos of plants and animals (and then log where you find them so we can keep an eye on the health of our environment).
I hope by that time ravers have become a bit smarter and more clued up about potential environmental impact; hopefully it won’t be you having to write a report on how much human shit is left behind in a field, but maybe you might be able to suggest that some parts of a public forest could legally be used for raves like similar arrangments in Canada.
I was at a rave in FC land at the weekend and you wouldn’t have heard the sound from any surrounding residential area, and it wasn’t scaring the birds out of the forest (could still hear loads)
June 6, 2006 at 9:38 am #1078038The best cure I found for a bad day at work is to quit!! (Spot the person who’s going travelling and doesn’t give one iota of a shit anymore!).
(*what’s an iota anyway?)

June 6, 2006 at 10:29 pm #1078040what happens when you just have one, huge iota and no other greek letters, and the iota is big, but totally out of context and you still don’t give one?
it becomes a viking word, which is, of course, coarser
:wtf: :head_bang :hopeless: raaa
