Send me a PM 4 location.
This is going to b something very very cool. . . . [the guys have done so much in just a few days.] GOOD LUCK!May 25, 2006 at 2:15 pm #1074885nice one! If only I didn’t live the other side of the fucking country I would be there like a shot to help you out….
TBH I wouldn’t party a place like that as with todays ravers it would get rinsed and trashed, and hotted up to such an extent that the cops closed it down (they can use new ASBO laws against squats used for “anti-social purposes”)
My mates used to do this with squatted buildings where they did art and stuff during the week and parties during the weekend, but it became a mare clearing up afterwards. we just about managed to hold it down in 2001/2 but even then people had a bit more respect.
unfortunately there are people who think they can do what the fuck they want with a place “because its “only” a squat” :rant:and you need to keep these people away….
BTW anyone told USE about this? (or perhaps he’s been up there for the last 3 days anyway 😉 )

Unfortunately crack/gang culture started to take over and at least one house in the street started being used as bases for dealing
All got evicted in the end (including the use of CO19 armed police units)
