March 31, 2006 at 11:28 pm #1069236Just listening to Tom Baker singing “How soon is now” (from that link Globalloon posted up). Fairly stoned, itching to do some production but I’m down visiting my parents at the moment and don’t have my laptop with me. As soon as I get back northwards I’ll be able to try out my lovely brand spanking new Alesis m1 active mk2 monitors *drools*

April 1, 2006 at 6:44 pm #1069234been to an annual food festival today… all locally produced specialities, with tons of freebies
food is the new rock and roll, baby
looking forward to getting a copy of a PC version of Ableton live tomorrow from a friend who is cooking up some of the goodies we bought today … local, organic, free range lamb. yumside
not going out tonight.. weeks are long at the moment… on top of working full time i’m spending saturday mornings doing a course called ‘mentoring for change’ (NVQ3) so I can be a mentor to men leaving HMP Exeter who are released ‘not on license’… ie, no probation supervision, no other support… so providing a link between the local community and prison life… on a voluntary basis
in fact i’m prolly not partying again until my 30th later this month, when i intend to blast out a load of self indulgent old school house, breakbeat hardcore, jungle techno in my local boozer for a private party
and it’s beltaine soon

If things take off round this way I may be doing something similar in the Suffolk area..yea, im dead excited about getting involved, i did a bit of uni radio, but the dickhead in charge couldnt pigeonhole me (folk, hiphop and dnb mainly- whats not to like?) so made my show a mission, so i quit. silly really, i really enjoyed the first few weeks when noone was breathing down my neck , i dunno what theyre problem was, it only braodcast about a mile or two. 5 listeners if i was lucky. it was mainly the student bar.

April 4, 2006 at 2:16 pm #1069248Anonymouswhat, there are badgers coming in? i’d love to see a badger in real life, never had a chance as they are so solitary and allegedly pretty hard when it comes to a fight!
April 5, 2006 at 11:41 am #1069241no badgers so far, but i have seen one once, it was so amazing…the rspca say they get bats in sometimes, i really wanna see one of those they’re so cool :horay:
