I know some of you went to the mightiest Techno night of them all “Atomic Jam”, If you didn’t you missed out!!!!!
The likes of the liberators rockin’ the back room, Trev Rockliffe, luke slater(when he kicked proper beats, not the 80’s shite he does now) Sven Vath, Sergeon, Plastic man a.k.a Ritchie Horton owning the crowd in the cathedral that was the main room ect, ect, ect…..
Or even it’s sister night “Spacehopper”!!
This may be a site for the free party massive, but the jam was where I met most of my friends in the world of music, drugs and good times a plenty back in the day!!
Just wondering if any of you had any memories/stories from the place??
I for one miss it as it was my spiritual home!! 🙁

July 28, 2005 at 3:13 pm #1066561I went to my first Atomic Jam at the Que club a couple of years ago.
I did have tickets to go and see Peter Kaye but a couple of weeks before the show a flyer caught my eyes….. It was for Atomic Jam on the same night as the show – DJ’s Dave Clarke, DJ Rush with Jason Berkovi live PA….. Of course, I sold my Peter Kaye ticket and got myself down to Atomic Jam…
……….I’d been clubbing/partying for about 5 years both in Europe and in the UK and can honestly say that Atomic Jam at the Que club was by far my best night out…
The vibe, the music, the people, the d’s, everything fitted into place that night……… I remember at 5 o’clock in the morning just as it was starting to get light, I looked across the dance floor from high up on the seets at the back……. the dance floor was still ‘jam’ packed,,, pardon the pun.
I thought to myself (with the hairs standing up on the back of my neck), what a fking amazing night this has been !!!!!!!
Unfortunatly that was my first and last experience of Atomic Jam… but sometimes it’s better not to return to a place and to just savour the memory that was !!!!R.I.P. The Que Club.
