GIANT FORMATION OF 5 CIRCLES AND 8 RINGS FIRST SEEN 14/7 SP 582015
This is the largest formation to appear at Garsington since records began in 1993. The measured length is 340ft and whole occupies an area of over 2 acres. The outer circles are 70ft in diameter while the smaller inner circle is 55ft. The rings and curving linkages are 3-4ft wide and the whole formation appears to show clockwise orientation. Note this field had the "dragon" formation on August 15th last year although the 2005 shape is in a different position further away from the B480 road and on the steepest sloping part of the field. This field has now been "visited" 3 times in 4 years,
