Description and Information: See Below
The grand finale was a splendid circle and crescent both surrounded
by a wide 10ft ring producing a formation almost 200ft across. We heard about
it on local radio on August 16th and found the location about a mile out in
the country from Caversham heading towards Henley on the A4155. It was situated
on a gentle slope and close to and clearly visible from the road on the north
side. A pub was only 200 yards away, but nobody was aware of the crop circles
when we made enquiries. A suggestion of the "eclipse" theme was apparent
here as in earlier formations of 1999.
